Remedy creative director Sam Lake revealed at the show it’ll be Remedy’s first survival horror game, with the first game – and to a lesser extent Control, which shares the same universe within Wake – having horror-like elements. Unveiled at The Game Awards, it showed Alan in a bunch of environments including Bright Falls from the first game as well as New York and others before showing a bloodied and scary Alan at the end (worth noting too this could be Alan’s evil doppleganger Mr Scratch).
